Understand

I now understand

... what it means to be tired
... moments where you're whole body tenses and you feel like there is no control
... why directors, coordinators, counsellors, ministers, nurses, doctors, mom's all drink coffee
... why the list always gets longer and never shorter
... how at the end of the day your mood can be very different then 4 hours before
... why you need to fully trust yourself and God
... flexibility
... the voice of God can be heard in the tiniest of places
... why at the end of the summer I wont have any pictures
... laughter can ease any stress
... its okay to giggle, sometimes tension can be released
... how to lean on others for support
... it all works out in the end
... that it really does take time
... the true meaning of hump day
... teamwork
... God really does work in mysterious ways

I have never felt so many emotions in one day. My head has never spun so fast with so many thoughts in less then 12 hours. I don't think I have relied more on other leaders, teammates, and elders for wisdom, support and love. This job has challenged me in the most incredible ways. Each time I turn around I am faced with something new. In amongst the challenges there are many celebrations, victories, moments that God is in our midst. There have been break throughs, words that make my heart beat an extra pulse, silence that brings chills to the body. Tonight as I was sharing how the evening impacted myself, there was a stir within the room and it really was because the Spirit is alive!

I have been challenged, but I also know I am so blessed and any challenges that may have come my way have been washed away from the glorious Spirit of celebration and peace.
Life is good. God is good.
Goodnight! xo

A wise man named Pat once gave you some wisdom. He said that challenges make you grow and he hoped you would have more in your life. I trust that the challenges you faced we're positive and helped you grow once again. I am sure you have helped make a wonderful and positive impact for the people you have worked with. Hugs.
